Ben Bradley (a friend of the late John F Kennedy) on Radio 4’s Today programme yesterday morning:
Jack [referring to JFK on his election] was half Irish and half an educated and sophisticated man. And he wasn’t sure which one he wanted to be yet. He hadn’t decided which one he wanted to be.
Because, clearly, you can’t be both.
We love the casual racism.
The Boy is liking that in Obama’s speech…when he was listing the races he wanted to be ‘inclusive of’…Muslim etc… he mentioned the ‘non-believers’.
It’s nice to be accounted for!
Yep… I think the ‘non belivers’ pleased a few people Pink. Are you religious tenderhooligan? (slightly off topic I know… but Pink started it)
Well you are all thick as potato stew so what do you expect?!
I’ll take the latter – don’t want both. ta.
Mxx
We already knew you were an educated and sophisticated man Murph…
Pinky, Obama is very clever like that.
James, no.
Karl/ Murph, yes, that’s right.
I was upset that he didn’t mention the Buddhists…
Karl, he had a big long list so he probably forgot. Besides, the Buddhists aren’t trouble makers like them there non-believers are!
